Tonino Lamborghini Golf Cart

If you can’t afford the uber cool Roadster Mini Hummer to whizz you round the golf course then you could go for the Tonino Lamborghini.

As you can see it looks nothing like a real Lambo but it does have some very endearing features that include:
• Independent front suspension.
• Four wheel hydraulic braking system.
• 50 miles to a single battery charge.
• Even the Vatican police use them - so they must be good!
Priced at £6,125 (approx $11,500) the Tonino Lamborghini is regarded by many as the undisputed king of golf carts.

LG PRADA Phone (LG KE850)

It looks like the Apple iPhone but in fact it’s Prada’s latest fashion item. It’s touch screen like the apple iPhone and it’s gonna cost you around £400!

Surprisingly the phone isn’t fussy and incredibly minimalist. It’s an LG tri-band GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE, there’s a large 240x400 pixel touch-sensitive display that can playback widescreen video clips, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD expandable memory, and the KE850 has an FM radio and a two megapixel camera. We measure the display as being 3.2 inches diagonally, a little smaller than the iPhone’s 3.5 inches.
Amazingly, all these features fit in a handset weighing just 85 grams (according to LG) which is 50 grams lighter than the iPhone. The KE850 measures 99 x 54 x 12mm which is somewhat more compact than its Apple rival.
Internal memory is a measly 8Mb, so a memory card will be essential. Because its only a tri-band GSM phone, it is unlikely to make it to the US in its present form, although a Korean CDMA version is touted for Q2 2007. LG say that the PRADA phone will be available in selected dealerships in the UK, Germany, Italy and France from late February, and then in Asia from late March 07.
It’s clear that LG have done more with the KE850 than just slap a PRADA label on an existing phone. Although it’s not the first touch-screen only phone, the KE850 is different from just about everything on the market.. except for the iPhone. The big advantage that the PRADA phone has is that it will be available to most of the world very soon.

One off Silver MTM Audi A8

by Hayden Allen

Check this bad boy out, it’s not actually solid silver but it is polished Aluminum, finished in a clear protective lacquer. The car was put together for a Saudi Sheikh buyer by Roland Mayer and his team at mtm (Motoren Technik Mayer) tuning in Germany.

This particular design project is known as the Audi A8 D3 polished. Before applying the final, clear finishing coat the metal surface of the car had to be totally free of any marks or defects because retouching later was not possible.
Of course the plastic bits could not be polished, parts like front and rear bumpers, spoilers, exterior mirrors, side skirts and fuel tank cap. These parts were finished in a special enamel paint to match the polished metal surfaces before they too received a clear finishing coat.
Mtm developed its own “discreet” body kit for the car. Inside, the door sills and floor mats have been stamped with the company’s logo.

The polished A8 is powered by a supercharged 4.2-litre V8 that delivers about 336kW of power and 530Nm of torque. To accommodate the extra performance the speedo can show more than 300 km/h.
The price has not yet been divulged BUT I can only imagine its around £100,000

The million dollar laptop by Luvaglio

March 07 saw the launch of the world’s most exclusive laptop by Luvaglio. Full spec details have not yet ben released but we know it has a 17” widescreen LED lit screen with a specially designed anti-reflective glare coating for clear and brighter image, 128GB of Solid State Disk space and a slot loading Blue-Ray drive. There is an integrated screen cleaning device and a very rare coloured diamond piece of jewellery that doubles up as the power button when placed into the laptop and also acts as security identification.

Rohan Sinclair, CEO of Luvaglio said: “Unlike many of the highly priced products being released, we took our time to develop something out of the ordinary with real attention to detail. “

“I didn’t want us to simply re-house a laptop into a diamond studded casing, or diamond encrust the entire thing simply to make it expensive. We’ve put thought in from the keyboard down to the power charger. There is an integrated screen cleaning device and a very rare coloured diamond piece of jewellery that doubles up as the power button when placed into the laptop and also acts as security identification. We have used diamonds elsewhere but have given them purpose.”

According to Luvaglio, “the brand is committed to re-defining luxury in a few sectors, technology being one of them.

“Many claim to produce luxury goods but we believe that the true element of luxury is having something that says “YOU”, that money can’t buy.

“At present and from our previous luxury work, our initial clients will be chosen from this selection as we have already established trust.

“The range to be released shortly would allow the owner to become the creator and visit our showroom at two or three well known upmarket stores we are in discussion with, whereby our selection of materials, finishes and accessories will be available to view and a choice selected.

“The choice will be based on our selection but of course other colours and finishes can be done on request. We have access to diamonds that are simply rare and near impossible to get hold of, so are able to offer a very embodied choice.

“The presentation boxes are of course supplied and finished in the choice that is selected by the client. Exact figures I am unable to provide at present due to negotiations but will certainly be more obtainable then our master piece.”

The first such masterpiece will sell for more than US$1,000,000.

The 200 years old bottle of Château Yquem - £55,000

The most expensive bottle of wine ever sold was the 1787 vintage Sauternes from Château Yquem that went for a record US$100,000. That’s £10,000 a glass!

The purchaser was a fine wine collector from the US.

But at over 200 years old what will the wine taste like? “Château Yquem is a sweet wine made in Bordeaux from completely shrivelled up, late harvested grapes. It has the concentration that enables it to mature for many years, even centuries. Apart from the taste, the enjoyment of wine as old as this is a remarkably nostalgic experience. In 1787 when peasants in Bordeaux were picking these grapes, George Washington became the first President of the United States, the French Revolution began, George III was King of England and James Watt was developing the steam engine!”

Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate Edition

Aston Martin has announced two developments for both new and existing customers of the company's flagship Vanquish S. The first is a Vanquish S Ultimate Edition that will be limited to just 40 units. The second is a transmission conversion kit to give owners a conventional stick-shift.

The Ultimate Edition centers on changes to the Vanquish S’s color and trim. On the exterior, these changes include a unique ‘Ultimate Black’ – a new color that will only be available with this car. Inside, the Vanquish S cabin is trimmed in a semi-aniline leather, with coarse stitching, leather headlining and black chrome finish interior fittings. Each car will also be fitted with personalised sill plaques denoting the limited edition number.

The Vanquish S Ultimate Edition retains all performance capabilities of the standard Vanquish S – and accordingly its position as the fastest ever production Aston Martin, capable of a top speed in excess of 200mph (321km/h). No additional charge will be made for the Ultimate Edition, available only with the 2+2 seating arrangement.

For existing Vanquish customers, Aston Martin’s world renowned Works Service department will offer a new transmission conversion for owners of the company’s flagship model.

Existing Vanquish owners will now be able to order a transmission conversion from the car’s existing Auto Shift Manual (ASM) system, to a conventional stick-shift manual. Since its launch in 2001, the Vanquish has been equipped with fingertip controlled, Formula 1-style paddles. Switching an existing car from the F1 system to a regular manual will cost £13,250.
